Web Site Content

James John Barton  http://jamesjohnbarton.com

Claimed Qualifications:  Scientist

As in his public appearances, Mr. Barton discusses only two subjects on his web site:

  1. Changing patent law to require that manufacturing using U.S. patents be in the United States only.   This would invalidate our trade agreements.
  2. A solar collector idea replacing roof sheathing with a roofing board with channels through which air would be passed to a clothes dryer.   No design or performance specifications are provided.  This idea is not ready for the commercial market and certainly not relevant to a campaign for Congress.

Olivia Freeman   http://hstrial-oliviaforcong1.intuitwebsites.com/

Claimed Qualifications: Army Veteran, Marketer, Successful Mom

Ms. Freeman's campaign web site discusses no issues at all.

Ms. Freeman's business web sites are more disturbing.  http://go-gizmo.com  markets a solar collector which she claims will produce enough electricity to power a 1500 sq ft house from 1 to 1 1/2 sq ft of collector (3 feet of rain gutter space).  The price is $5000 or $600 for a test house.  This is a totally fraudulent claim.  The average solar energy on 1 sq ft is 15 watts.  After, considering the typical efficiency of solar collectors of 6 to 15% and the above average number of cloudy days in Ohio, the expected output would be 1 to 2 watts.   The requirement would be 20-30 kilowatt-hours per day.  or 2000-3000 watts output capability when the sun is shining- more than 1000 times the possible output of 1 sq ft of collector.    go-gizmo.com is intertwined with her campaign using her campaign phone and fax numbers.  Her campaign phone number and residential address is used in the domain registration for go-gizmo.com. At the 4/14/10 Clark County Truman Kennedy Club Candidate Forum as well as at the candidate interview with the Dayton Daily News, Freeman acknowledged that go-gizmo.com is her enterprise and said she will soon be entertaining potential investors from Tanzania.   One would reasonably conclude Freeman's operation rises to the level of criminal fraud.
