Family Values No one practices stronger family values than my wife and I do. We are Christians and work hard to live up to the teachings of Jesus. We agreed at the start of our marriage (June 1967) that our primary objective was to provide a healthy, moral environment for our future children. We were continuing the values we had been taught by our parents. Financial wealth was not high on our list. When we had our first child in 1972, she left her career as a school teacher to be a stay-at-home mother. We have been rewarded with three outstanding children. They are now grown and practicing, in their own homes, the values they learned from us - the same values we learned from our parents.
