Meet Bill

I am making my third run for U.S. Congress from the Ohio 7th District in 2010.  The tenor of my campaign is the same as in 2006 and 2008.  Circumstances have changed.  In the main, the events since 2006 have made the need for the changes I have advocated more evident.  During the Health Care Reform and Banking Regulation legislative processes it has become evident to all who have paid attention that lobbyists for special interests (health insurers, pharmaceuticals, health providers, trial lawyers,  bankers, etc.) control the actions of Congress.   Their power comes from the fact that they fund the multi million dollar campaigns of House and Senate members.  Corporate greed has no conscience or interest in public welfare or even national survival.  It will destroy our nation in the interest of exorbitant profit benefiting from laws enacted by their hired hands in Congress.  While I outline problems and present solutions for more than 3o issues, the first order of business must be the limitation of campaign spending to restore control by the people.  Until we do that, it will be difficult to pass any important legislation.

I'm not running because I need a job.  When you are honest, and I am, there is much frustration and no money in politics.  I take on this campaign as a citizen interested only in the welfare of our nation and its people.  I have the integrity, experience, education, intelligence, and dedication to make major positive changes in Congress.  Along with my positions on the issues, I invite you to go to the following topics to learn about me and assess my qualifications:
